Cem Aral
Cem the DCSU president is responsible for overseeing the team's overall operations and success. Along with Organizing meetings, managing team logistics, and coordinating debate competitions and events. The President provides guidance and support to team members, facilitates communication between coaches and debaters, and often represents the team in external affairs. It is the president's role to foster a positive team environment and serve as a liaison between the debate team and the university administration or other relevant organizations.

Founder & Vice-President
Isaac Arnold
Isaac the Vice President is second-in-command, supporting the president and assisting in various organizational aspects. He collaborates with the president to plan meetings, manage administrative tasks, and oversee team operations. The Vice President may step in to fulfill the president's duties in their absence, help coordinate events and competitions, and facilitate communication within the team. He play's a crucial role in maintaining team cohesion, assisting in decision-making processes, and often taking on additional responsibilities delegated by the president to ensure the smooth functioning of the debate team.

Founder & Secretary
Haley Greene
The Secretary focuses on administrative tasks crucial for the team's smooth functioning. This includes recording meeting minutes, maintaining team records, and handling correspondence. The secretary helps organize meetings, coordinates events as well as managing communication within the team, and ensures that important information and announcements are efficiently disseminated among members. The secretary keeps documentation organized, maintains the team's historical records, and supports the overall administrative needs essential for effective team operations.

Founder & Treasurer
Mack Bowen
The Treasurer manages the team's finances and budgetary matters. The treasurer is responsible for keeping accurate records of the team's financial transactions, creating and maintaining budgets, and managing expenses related to team activities, competitions, and travel. The treasurer often collaborates closely with the team's leadership to develop financial plans, monitor spending, and seek funding opportunities or sponsorships. The treasurer plays a crucial role in ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sustainability within the debate team's operations.

Their responsibilities often include selecting debate topics, creating tournament schedules, and coordinating participation in debate events. The Debate Coordinator may also facilitate training sessions, offer feedback on debates, and manage the logistical aspects of competitions, striving to enhance the team's overall performance and success in debates.

Social Media Manager
Colin Harkins
The social Media Manager plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the team's online presence across various social media platforms including Instagram, Linkden, TikTok and facebook. Their responsibilities include creating and curating content, developing social media strategies, and executing campaigns to promote the team's activities, achievements, and events. They engage with the audience, interact with followers, and use social media analytics to assess engagement and reach. The Social Media Manager aims to increase the team's visibility, attract new members, and foster a positive online community while effectively communicating the team's message and accomplishments.

is responsible for managing internal logistics and facilitating the team's activities within the campus environment. Their role involves coordinating practice schedules, booking debate spaces, and organizing on-campus events, workshops, or practice debates. They liaise with campus facilities, ensuring the team has access to necessary resources and venues for meetings or tournaments. Additionally, they may collaborate with other campus organizations to promote the debate team's visibility and recruit new members, fostering a vibrant and engaged debate community on campus.

External Relations Coordinator
